Congratulations to the New York Rangers for finally scoring a home goal. Unfortunately, they were only able to score one when the team needed at least four.  Artemi Panarin was the one who ended the home scoring drought at the most famous arena in the world. The goal came after 180:57 of shutout hockey through three home games. Panarin’s goal came just 57 seconds into the first period. Buffalo has once again dug themselves a hole early in the season. A 1-3-0 start puts the Sabres with just 2 points and last place in the Atlantic Division. A total of 6 points back from Montreal, the Sabres won on Wednesday against the Senators to get their first points in the standings. Despite Buffalo taking down Ottawa, a team ahead of them in the division, doesn’t quite mean that things will trend upward. Even with the fact Buffalo had an offensive explosion with 8 goals.

What will come first: The New York Jets winning a football game or the New York Rangers scoring a home goal?
