The New York Islanders announced on Thursday that they have signed Daylan Kuefler to a two-year, two-way contract. The forward saw AHL career highs in what was his third professional season. Kuefler recorded 10 goals and 15 assists for 25 points in 67 games for the now defunct Bridgeport Islanders. The 24-year-old also notched 100 shots on goal during two Calder Cup contests.

Kuefler was originally selected by the Islanders at 174th overall in the 2022 NHL Draft. Overall the forward has 32 points, with 21 coming via the assist in 105 games with AHL Bridgeport. In 17 ECHL games with the Railers, he recorded 5 goals and 3 assists, which all game during a brief stint during the 2023/24 season.
