The West Haven Co-op Blue Devils faced the East Haven Co-op Yellow Jackets, on January 11th. The game was not only a rivalry game, featuring of the Battle of The Havens, but now the Battle of The Co-ops.
West Haven came in 0-5, fresh off of an overtime loss against NDF. They came in looking for much needed momentum and that's what they got.
A 37-save performance by Kiryl Astrovukh put West Haven's offense into prime position to score due to the solid defensive work. Marcus Burrows would notch two goals with Mike Madera putting one in the net.
West Haven would win 3-2, it is their first win as a co-op program.
