It is expected that the vaccine mandate in New York City will be rolled back on Thursday. This comes as the 2021/22 NBA season is coming to an end with playoffs on the horizon and the 2022 MLB season set to start in early April. This means that unvaccinated players can play in both closed and open stadiums instead of having to be forced into missing games. The biggest notable player amongst this mandate coming to and end is Brooklyn Nets superstar player Kyrie Irving who has missed a majority of the season due to not being vaccinated. Irving along with other unvaccinated players will now lead their team(s) into the big apple.
