The New York Jets are going into a season carrying a 14-year playoff drought.
Since their 2010 run the team has gone through multiple coaches and have yet to see a winning season in a decade. Most recently, New York went 5-12 during the 2024/25 NFL season with multiple head coaches at the command.
Now under first year head coach Aaron Glenn, we expect that the new gang green regime will have a different outcome in at least some form. Not to mention a new quarterback that the Jets hope turns into their franchise guy being Justin Fields, gives New York a fresh clean slate.
Another thing that has been added this offseason to the Jets is Jesus.
Aaron Glenn has introduced Bible study as part of his training with the players.
A photo posted from Jets’ safety Jarius Monroe’s paper showcases multiple verse passages along with a five question quiz at the bottom.

More than likely the Bible studies would not impact game-time performances, but what it can do besides bringing players closer to God, is also bring the team closer together as a whole having that bond.
This is most likely an optional team event as not every player on the Jets is Christian.
