Jets Faced With Offseason QB Management After Travis' Sudden Retirement

With the sudden medical retirement of Jordan Travis, the New York Jets are now faced with two roads ahead.
One road being to move on with three quarterbacks on the roster and the other to bring one in via trade or free agent signing. Nonetheless more than likely an addition to the QB room would be for the third slot or even on the practice squad.
The Jets QB room currently consists of presumptive starter Justin Fields, with Tyrod Taylor as the primary backup and Adrian Martinez currently serving under a reserve/futures contract.
The Jets don’t necessarily need to add another quarterback to their roster as most teams will carry three once the regular season starts. Any moves the jets do make in a possible addition to quarterback won’t necessarily be significant as it would mainly be for depth in case of injury.
