For the first time since 1973, the New York Knicks are NBA Champions. Unfortunately though, the Knicks are yet to once again be finals champions. Last night was the finals for the somewhat still-new NBA Cup, which for those who do not know is an in-season tournament for all 30 NBA teams that features group play and knockout stages that culminates in a championship game.
