Brennen Davis was finally healthy and off to a brilliant start to Triple-AAA with Scranton, but now he remains on the injured list as the all-star break nears its end and any chance of him making his major league debut this season is likely over.Â
Davis was hitting a high .346 with a 1.214 OPS in 15 AAA games before falling on the 7-day IL after colliding with the outfield wall in late June. It was not announced as to why the former top-100 prospect was put on the injured list, and currently there is zero clarity as to a possible return.
The 25-year-old has dealt with a flurry of injuries ranging from back injuries all the way to a fractured ankle. Davis was signed by the Yankees on a minor league contract on Christmas Eve of 2024.
