West Haven Football Releases 2025 Schedule

The 2025 schedule for the West Haven Blue Devils varsity football team has been released.

This will be another season where key rivalry matches with Hillhouse and NDWH will not be played.

The regular season kicks off on September 12th, to begin Friday night lights on the road against Manchester. September 19th, will feature the first home game at Ken Strong Stadium as West Haven takes on long-time rival Shelton.

The Blue Devils will then travel to Staples in what will be a revenge match against the team that won a narrowly contested state championship in 2023. West Haven will then be back home for the next two weeks, facing Xavier and Fairfield Prep. The Prep home game will mark the first time since 2021 that Fairfield has traveled to West Haven.

A quick away game against Cheshire will then bring the Devils’ back to West Haven to face Amity. A two-game road set will see matches against Fitch and Daniel Hand. This will be the first time that West Haven will face Fitch in program history (according to MaxPreps), as this will be a non-league game against the Class MM team.

West Haven will end their regular season at home on November 26th, against North Haven for the Thanksgiving Eve game.
