West Haven Blue Devils Wide receiver Armani Reid (Class of 2025) will be staying in his hometown as the WR1 officially committed to the University of New Haven over the Fourth of July weekend.
The dual-threat player was named as a top-26 player in the state in 2024 by the CHSCA and is a First team All-State Wide receiver. The newly committed Charger played both Wide receiver and also safety for West Haven as he started on the Devils’ varsity squad over his junior and senior seasons, which saw back-to-back state championship appearances.
Reid, who stands at 5-10 and weighs 155 lbs, had multiple Division I offers from teams such as UMass and Sacred Heart before he ultimately committed to the newest NCAA DI program of New Haven.
