The New York Rangers have extended Forward Julien Gauthier on a one year, $800,000 deal. The extension keeps the 24-year old in the big apple for at least one more season. Last season featured three goals and four assists in 49-games played for the 2016 draftee, setting career highs for both goals and games played in a season. Gauthier is expected to take on a bigger role this upcoming season and be an everyday regular as he comes off a career high season.
