Orange and white are back in the playoffs
The New York Knicks officially clinched a playoff berth after a 118-109 win over the Washington Wizards. The win puts New York at 46-33, also locking them in the playoffs for the second time in three seasons.
Fact is Tom Thibodeau has done wonders with the Knicks’ squad. MSG only saw New York above .500% just three times in the previous 19 seasons before the Thibs takeover.
The blowout win also marked the second-straight win without Julius Randle, who will miss the remaining games of regular season basketball along with a possibility of being ruled out in the playoffs. He is set to be reevaluated in a week-and-a-half for an ankle sprain.
