Jets Head Coach Robert Saleh Joins Ever-growing COVID List

Updated: May 17, 2023

It has been announced that New York Jets Head Coach Robert Saleh has fallen on the COVID-19 list, he is now the 15th Jet to do so. Over the past week and a half, the NFL has gotten over 100 COVID cases that has led to several postponements of games. As a whole COVID has been surging through sports in America has the NHL postponed all games until after Christmas and the NBA has had to postpone several games due to teams not having the required number of active players. Overall it does not look like sports would be shutdown though as they did back in 2020, but it does seem that cases will be on the rise as time goes on even though over 90% of all the NFL, NHL and NBA's players, coaches and team staff are vaccinated.

The New York Jets sit 3-11 as the season winds down as their next game is a 1:00 Sunday afternoon meetup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. For that game the jets will have TEs Coach Ron Middleton was the Head Coach in replacement of the COVID positive Robert Saleh.
