It was a hard knock tenure for Mecole Hardman, who was just sent back to Kansas City after appearing in just five games with the Jets.
Hardman was signed over the offseason by way of a 1yr/$4M contract. He did next to nothing with the Jets, playing just 28 offensive snaps and being targeted three-times for a lone six-yard reception.
The lack of use is due to there being no role for Hardman, the Jets had one for him, but Xavier Gipson took it for himself in stand-out fashion.
The official trade has Hardman and a 2025 7th round pick going to the Chiefs, with a 2025 5th heading to New Jersey.
