Jameis Winston will get the call to start this Sunday, as the fan-favorite flamethrower has surpassed Russell Wilson for the QB2 slot.

Jaxson Dart is remaining as the true starting quarterback, but he is in the midst of concussion protocol making him ineligible for the November 16th game vs Green Bay. Dart, who has already been checked for a concussion four times this season had his luck run out mid-game vs the Bears last Sunday.

The 2-8 Giants go into this Week 11 affair as one of the worst teams in the league. This will mark Jameis Winston’s first start for the Giants and will make it that Big Blue has used three different quarterbacks to start this season: Wilson, Dart and now Winston

Jameis Winston is highly regarded as the best backup in the league that can easily be a starter on nearly half the teams in the league. He was signed on a two-year deal over the offseason and was eventually moved to QB3 after New York wanted to test out Russell Wilson and have Jaxson Dart learn in a close backup role.
