Giants Move On From Defensive Coordinator After Another Blown Lead

It only took five fourth quarter meltdowns for the New York Giants to realize that the defensive coordinator may be the issue. At interim head coach Mike Kafka's call, Giants DC Shane Bowen was fired.
This firing comes after Bowen failed to protect another fourth quarter lead in what was eventually a 34-27 loss in overtime. Bowen has been replaced by OLB coach Charlie Bullen.
The New York Giants have already been eliminated from playoff contention and have a top three draft pick as things stand with their 2-10 record.
