Former New York Jets Quarterback Announces Retirement

Former New York Jets flamethrower has announced his immediate retirement at age 31. Streveler announced his retirement on March 29th, with a post on Instagram.

Streveler appeared in 9 regular games throughout his three-year NFL career, two games came as a New York Jet where he made his first and only career start with. As a New York Jet, Streveler went 10-for-15 passing (66.7%) for 90 yards throughout the 2022 season. He did not throw a touchdown or interception. Streveler also rushed for 54 yards off of 9 attempts in a gang green uniform.
Streveler became a fan favorite in 2022 after leading the Jets to three-straight preseason wins, which all came in thrilling comeback forms. The 2022 preseason saw Streveler 24-for-33 passing, with 277 yards and a 5-1 TD-INT ratio.
Streveler would sign a reserve/future contract with New York on January 9th, 2023, but would later be released on August 7th after suffering a preseason injury and landing on the IR.
