Tuesday was a big signing day for former New York Jet quarterbacks, as three former Gang Greeners inked new contracts.

Former first-round pick Zach Wilson is continuing what has been a journeyman backup career since leaving MetLife Stadium. Wilson signed with the New Orleans Saints, marking now the third different team in three years he has signed with since leaving the Jets after the 2023 campaign.

Joe Flacco (yes he is still playing) signed to the Bengals at the age of 41 years young. Flacco played two forgettable stints with the Jets from 2020, and then again from 2021-22, that saw him start several games due including the first three weeks of the 2022 season due to Zach Wilson being injured.

Trevor Siemian is another player who had forgettable stints with the Jets, being on the team in 2019 and again in 2023. The Super Bowl champion has the shortest Jets career out of the three players, as he appeared in 6 games for New York, starting 3 of them. 2023 (5 G / 3 GS) saw Siemian go 2-1 as a starter, marking his first win since the 2017 season. Siemian also beat the Patriots as a Jet in what was Bill Belichick’s final game as New England’s head coach. Siemian signed with the Atlanta Falcons Tuesday.
