New York Knicks Point Guard Derrick Rose is expected to miss at least eight weeks after undergoing ankle surgery. Rose played in a total of 26-games this season, four of which he started in as he combined for a total of 12-points in 24 minutes to be the fifth best scorer on the team. Rose came up clutch so far this season for the team, energizing the bench which put him in early talks for the Sixth Man of The Year award. Rose has delt with ankle problems a majority of his career, but his play has been affected heavily over the past season and a half now as he has missed several games. Rose is expected to rejoin the Knicks around late February or early March, as of now the Knicks sit 14-17 in the standings.
