On Thursday, Mike Senica announced that he plans on running in three NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series events in 2026.
Senica, 59, last drove in the Truck Series along with any of the top three levels of NASCAR in 2018. Overall, he has 12 races to his name in the Truck Series with a best finish 21st in what was his series debut at Iowa in 2017 with Copp Motorsports. Since racing in the Truck Series, Senica has made starts in the Super Cup Series.
The owner-driver plans to enter his name and his No. 57 Chevrolet into San Diego, Lucas Oil Speedway and Richmond.
Senica's last Truck Series start came in controversy while running for TJL Motorsports at Martinsville Speedway in 2018. During the race, Truck Series competition director David Hoots radioed for Senica to be parked due to not meeting the minimum speed requirement. Senica disregarded the order and stayed on track despite being shown a black flag. A few laps later, Senica’s truck would stall on the backstretch garage entrance, causing a caution.
Announcing his return to trucks after a near-decade hiatus, Senica looks to bring his RaM Racing Chevy back to the starting grid and change his legacy in the series.
