It was announced that Oklahoma City Thunder Forward Chet Holmgren will miss the 2022-2023 season with a Lisfranc injury to his right foot. Holmgren, the No. 2 pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, suffered the injury in a Pro-Am game in Seattle on Saturday. The injury occurred while he was defending LeBron James on a fast break in the pick-up game. The game was later canceled in the second quarter because of the condition of the court. The humid day along with a pack crowd caused repeated wet spots on the court floor, making it dangerous for both teams.
