The Brooklyn Nets organization has fired Steve Nash after leading the team to a 2-5 start this season. Nash has been the head coach of the Brooklyn team since being hired prior to the 2021 season. A 94-67 .584% record is what is marked of Nash's tenure as the powerhouse Nets have failed to make a NBA finals appearance in the two full seasons under him.
It is expected that suspended Boston Celtics coach Ime Udoka has emerged as the likely next Nets head coach with his hiring job possibly being finalized as soon as the next 24-to-48 hours.
