Never in my life would I think I would be writing a brain-rot article – but here we are.

A horse named Skibidi Rizz won a race in Ohio. The jokes write themselves.Â
I promise you reading this that it is not satire in any way whatsoever. There actually is a horse named Skibidi Rizz and it did win an official horse race just over a week ago at Thistledown, which is in North Randall, Ohio.
Skibidi Rizz is a 4-year-old Thoroughbred racehorse that was foaled in Kentucky. He was sired by Nyquist out of the Into Mischief mare Sinwaan, and is owned by N and E Racing Stables. The horse started racing two years ago after being purchased privately and was then named. The name comes from a brainrot trend used by kids and teenagers.
The horse has raced exclusively in the midwest and during race 3 on July 2nd at Thistledown, Rizz would be victorious. Rizz, who was the No.5 horse and had ½ odds, would win the race by two lengths with Brandon Tapara as the jockey. This was Rizz’s first win of 2026 and second win overall of his still fairly new career.
