Any and all politics aside, Barron Trump not playing basketball is such a waste of potential talent. The young Trump’s height is unofficial, but it is estimated that he stands between 6-foot-7 inches and 6-foot-9 inches tall. Nonetheless, Barron towers over his 6-foot-3 father Donald Trump and mother Melania, who is 5-foot-11.

The massive size difference has had the 20-year-old go viral numerous times. Overall, Barron has stayed mainly out of the spotlight throughout the past decade. Seemingly, he has been the only child of the President who has gone without negative media coverage.

During Donald Trump’s 2024 Presidential Campaign, Barron reportedly served as an unofficial podcast and youth-voter advisor. Barron’s influence and help got father Donald on multiple podcasts and a larger presence on Gen Z-focused platforms.

Several years ago in 2024, multiple media outlets along with the New York Sports Show, reported that there was speculation that Trump, who was then 17-years-old, was possibly going to play college basketball. There was virtually zero evidence backing up these claims, with them being more rumors than anything – although it was pretty fun to predict that sporty outcome.

Barron Trump’s height and slavic background would make him a candidate for a big man role player spot on any NBA team. The average height of an NBA center in 2026 is 6-foot-11. Trump’s height makes him just below average for the average center, but puts him in the prime grouping for either a small forward or a power forward. The average 2026 height of an NBA small forward is 6-foot-6, with a power forward being at 6-foot-8.

Any potential pro-basketball career for Barron is non-existent as he has taken up the business-savvy side from his Presidential businessman father. Barron currently attends NYU and recently co-founded a Florida-based energy drink company called Sollos.

So, even though Barron Trump may not be using his giant-like height to notch a layup and battle LeBron, he is putting himself in place at 20-years-old for a very successful future. Who knows, maybe Barron Trump will be in the NBA or some professional basketball league one day as an owner – with an already astounding estimated net worth over $130 million, the sky doesn’t even seem to be the limit for the young business mindset that is Barron Trump.
