A Early Season Look At The UNH Chargers Football Team

Over the past several weeks we have followed the University of New Haven Chargers Football Team, a NCAA Football Division II football team based in New Haven, Connecticut. The Chargers went 10-2 in 2021, 8-0 in their conference games. The Chargers charged into the playoffs where they destroyed Bentley in round one where they would then lose to Kutztown 10-7 in the second round. Now in 2022 the team enters week five with a 3-1 record, two out of the three wins have come at home. The team is led by QB1 Connor Degenhardt, a Grad Student out of Massachusetts who transferred from Holy Cross prior to the 2021 season. The Chargers look to take it all the way this season as they have a great offense with a defense unlike no other.
