The Yankees are now 2-8 in their last 10 games played and their once commanding lead in the AL East has diminished to just 1.5 games. Los Angeles, which came into this series under .500%, now has the chance to even their record if they pull off the sweep today against New York.

Overall, the only-other time the Yankees have gone seven-straight games with seven runs or fewer and six+ losses was from September 1-7 in 1908, when the franchise was still under the Highlanders name.
