It seems it has always fallen on the thanksgiving game for West Haven the past four years now, going onto five. In terms of making the playoffs or having the chance of a higher season. It has fallen on the 10th and last game of the Blue Devils season to be the ultimate decider.

A 4-5 standing West Haven team is getting ready to close out its worst season since 2019, but everything that has happened in the regular season won’t matter if West Haven makes the playoffs. A fresh slate, where anything could happen. West Haven is the first team on the outside looking in on 8th seeded NFA, with a 100-point differential separating the two teams.
In order for West Haven to make playoff football the team will not only have to beat the annoying North Haven run offense, but will also have to hope for an NFA loss against a 3-6 New London team. NFA enters against New London with a 5-4 record on the season and will clinch a playoff berth with a win no matter what happens behind them in the standings.
West Haven has been out-scored this season 204-196 in what has featured two-out-of-five losses being by a combined four points. The Blue Devils also were shutout back-to-back games against Cheshire and Amity.
When on the winning side, the Blue Devils have been a truly dominant team despite losing multiple key players, which included a DI commit to graduation. All four of West Haven’s wins this season have come by an average of three scores.
