Tyler Tomassi Brings Home The New York Sports Show Chevrolet With Top-15 At ARCA West Madera 150
Tyler Tomassi and Strike Mamba Racing had the New York Sports Show along for a 150-lap battle at Madera Speedway on Saturday night as an associate sponsor. Tomassi brought the No. 51 New York Sports Show Chevrolet home 14th in the ARCA Menards Series West Madera 150.
Tomassi completed all 157 laps of the event, finishing just 3.160 seconds behind race winner Hailie Deegan in what was a green-white-checkerd finish.
The night began with Tomassi qualifying 18th in the 21-car field. His No. 51 posted a best lap of 15.329 seconds at 78.205 mph, placing him inside the top 20 for the start at the 0.333-mile track.
From there, Tomassi and the Strike Mamba Racing team worked their way through the race, which ultimately went beyond the advertised 150 laps, with the official results showing 157 laps due to late cautions.
In what was a chaotic final 50-laps, Tomassi stayed on track for the entire race distance, briefly going a lap down. The Rhode Island native would get himself back on the lead lap and finish on it as well. Late in the race Tomassi showed his world-class wheelmanship by avoiding a turned-around No.5 car of Eric Johnson Jr., with Tomassi turning high to avoid what would have been a head-on collision.
Tomassi ran as high as 12th and would finish 14th as the last car on the lead lap. The finish places Tomassi 11th in the ARCA West standings (231 points) with three races left of the 2026 season.
The sponsorship also marked the latest racing partnership for New York Sports Show creator Dominic Konareski, following the brand’s previous involvement with Chad Finchum in the NASCAR Cup and O’Reilly Series.
