Playoff Bound Rangers Still Have A Goal To Net

The New York Rangers are playoff bound, clinching a playoff berth after last night’s win against Philadelphia in a high-scoring OT thriller. The 6-5 New York win puts Rangers hockey at 48-20-4 with 100 points.

The Rangers clinching a playoff berth marks them down as the first team to do so this season.

Standing first place in the Eastern Conference and the entire league; New York will go into playoff hockey as favorites to win the Stanley Cup.

The Rangers still have one goal still in mind with 10 regular season games remaining: Win the East. A 6-win, 1-point  difference is what separates New York from Boston. Florida and Carliona (both 3-points away) also have a chance to win the conference. New York will not be facing any of those teams in their final 10 games.
