FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

West Haven, CT – The New York Sports Show is proud and honored to announce its official sponsorship of Chad Finchum and the No. 66 Garage 66 entry for the 2026 NASCAR Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium, one of the sport's most iconic venues.

The Clash at Bowman Gray marks NASCAR's return to the historic quarter-mile short track that is referred to as “The Madhouse,” known for its intense racing, passionate fans and deep-rooted racing tradition. The partnership aligns the New York Sports Show with one of NASCAR’s most unique and high-energy stages.

New York Sports Show branding will be prominently featured on the sides of the No. 66 Ford Mustang throughout the Clash weekend. This sponsorship marks the entry of the podcast to NASCAR’s highest level, while also joining a very short but elite list of fellow sports media brands to sponsor at the highest level.

“We’re thrilled to be part of an event such as the Clash,” said Dominic Konareski, founder and host of the New York Sports Show. “This sponsorship represents much more than just extending the podcast to more eyes; it represents a personal dream of mine to get the podcast at the top level of auto racing.”

Konareski, 21, is a long-time NASCAR fan who got his first taste of auto racing when he watched the 2012 Cup Series night race at Richmond. Despite being a very die-hard New York sports fan and talking about every-single major New York team, Konareski has incorporated racing in the podcast ever since it first aired in 2018.

The New York Sports Show, which is the top-ranked all-New York sports podcast on YouTube, currently carries a following of 67.3k subscribers and nearly 240 million views. The New York Sports Show posts daily on YouTube with short-and-sweet content that gets straight to the point from a fan angle.

Since 2021, the New York Sports Show has sponsored roughly 50 drivers / teams across various levels and backgrounds of auto racing. The likes of Ryan Preece, Bobby Labonte, Christopher Danielczuk and various drivers of Tommy Baldwin Racing have all had New York Sports Show decals on their cars.

“Sponsoring Chad [Finchum] is a true honor in itself in being able to work with a driver who has been a personal favorite of yours for nearly a decade,” said Konareski. “I have been looking to sponsor in the top three series for several years now and it only fits right that it begins with someone that I have cheered for over the years, along with a team that I have favored as well.”

Finchum and Garage 66 is one of two non-chartered (open) teams set to compete at the Clash, which will mark Finchum’s first-ever Cup Series event at Bowman Gray.

Chad Finchum has been part of Garage 66 (MBM Motorsports) as a part-time driver since 2018, driving the Nos. 49 and 66. Overall, Finchum is a NASCAR Whelen All American Series Tennessee State Champion and ARCA (formally K&N) winner at Bristol Motor Speedway in what is part of a long, multi-decade resume filled with championships and awards.

Due to pending weather, all Saturday events (practice, qualifying and heat races) will now be on Sunday, which was originally set to have just the LCQ and main event. This new update no-longer carries the heat races.

New schedule:

Practice: 2-4 PM ET (FS2)

LCQ: 6 PM ET (FOX)

Clash: 8 PM ET (FOX)
