A bye week to fully analyze a 1-7 has given the Jets a much needed break after being put through the ringer since Week 1.
A team that has struggled on every level achievable that new stats were created mid-game just to showcase how bad the 2025 New York Jets are. Surprisingly, despite their 1-7 start, the Jets can still finish with double-digit wins and fight for a wild card spot if they go undefeated throughout their final nine games.
New York takes on the 2-6 Cleveland Browns at MetLife this Sunday in what will be a battle of who is worst. Although the Jets are coming off a game with more than 500 yards of offense in what was a world class outing by Justin Fields, the team still has defensive matters that need addressing.
Meanwhile over in Cleveland, the Browns bottom three offense has been a joke with the mishandling of their QBs all at the center of it. The Browns offense have failed to muster more than 17 points in a game this season, giving sight for a possible Jets win. This also gives the Gang Green offense to rebound from an atrocious performance a week ago.
New York is the betting favorite heading into Week 10, and most certainly the bye week has given the team time to recover and analyze how the second half may go.
With the trade deadline at 4 p.m EST on November 4th, the team will also be looking to shunt under performers away and add possible depth and draft picks for Aaron Glenn.
