NASCAR Cup Series driver Denny Hamlin has been caught in 4k after he lost another championship after a third place finish at the Phoenix Raceway Sunday behind fellow contenders Kyle Larson and Martin Truex Jr. Once again we saw another failure of season from the Joe Gibbs Racing driver who is on the verge of being the next gen era of Mark Martin as no matter how many times Hamlin wins he just cannot finish it off at the end of the season. Hamlin posted on his Twitter on February 17th, 2021 that he will win the Cup Series championship and he was wrong per usual. Denny Hamlin is the only guy to drive for FedEx for more than 15-years and never deliver, in a total of 17-years and 578 races he has 46wins, 198 Top5s and 305 Top10s to give him an average points finish of 9th place.
