The 2025 Mets were pathetic, spineless and frankly an illegitimate baseball team this year. Their fall from grace was faster than me spending my entire paycheck the day I got it. Pitching was a nightmare. Clay Holmes was more dysfunctional than my last relationship and Jonah Tong, a clear young talent, was rushed up and imploded when under any sign of pressure. Hitting was inconsistent. Juan Soto took a while to get going and then hit what seemed to be only solo home runs. F
