Former Georgia QB1 Stetson Bennett was arrested in Dallas, on a public intoxication charge, according to police reports.
The arrest occurred around 6am on Sunday. The two-time national champion is just weeks away from the 2023 NFL Draft, he is expected to go in the third round.
Though just a misdemeanor charge, the 25-year-old was arrested. Despite that it is not expected that the arrest will impact Bennett’s draft stock due to him not being a top two round pick. Also playing a factor is that there is (as of now) no video or pictures of the arrest.
