West Haven Pitchers Combine For No-Hitter Against Hartford In Twilight League All-Star Game

The West Haven Twilight League played an All-Star game against the Greater Hartford Twilight League on Monday, August 24th. The game took place at Palmer Field in Middletown, as the two leagues with a combined 190-years of twilight baseball history in Connecticut faced off against each other.

This was a multi-event night in what was a home run derby showcase, leading to All-Star game later on that night.

Overall, these baseball festivities are part of a yearly tradition between the two leagues.

WHTL's Jose Hernandez won the home run derby. Once the All-Star game started it continued to be West Haven that put on a show.

West Haven had Cooper Thompson start the game, and would end up seeing him be near-perfect. The WHTL All-Stars would blank Hartford in what was a 1-0 combined no-hitter shutout win.

This game ends the 2026 season for both team, as West Haven goes out the best way possible: with a combined no-no.
