NYSS RACE DAY- Red Bull may be making a comeback to NASCAR, but it’s not in the way that you may be thinking.
An Instagram story posted by Trackhouse Racing owner Justin Marks showed driver Shane van Gisbergen signing his 2024 contract. Overall, it seemed to be an ordinary contract signing photo, but a broader look shows hints of Red Bull getting back into NASCAR.
Firstly, Red Bull is tagged in the story along with Weathertech, which has already been announced as one of Shane van Gisbergen’s sponsors. Also, SVG is wearing a Red Bull hat, which is a continuation of him wearing a Red Bull sponsored helmet at the Chicago Street race.
Justin Marks posting the story himself and making sure to tag Red Bull leads many to believe that Red Bull is back in the sport and will be announced as one of SVG’s sponsors for 2024.
