Qatari Officials Reveal That Hundreds Of Workers Died While Building World Cup Stadiums

It has been revealed by Qatari officials that World Cup worker deaths are estimated at between 400 and 500. Once FIFA awarded Qatar as the 2022 World Cup host, the country began to employ migrant workers. Those workers were treated poorly and lived in poor conditions, some not receiving payment for months. Despite being treated poorly the workers built the soccer stadiums along with the infrastructures necessary to hold the soccer tournament.

Many were made aware of the hellish treatment of the workers from various news sources, as the world cup continues on more and more news is being leaked. It was originally (and still is) estimated that worker deaths are in the thousands, as of now it unofficially stands in the mid-hundreds.
