Former NFL Quarterback Drew Brees has been hired as an interim assistant coach at Purdue University. The school announced the hiring on December 15th, ahead of the Citrus Bowl vs LSU.
With Brees coming on he will be able to assist the team in the head coaching transition between leaving HC Brian Brohm and soon-to-be coach Ryan Walters. Brees and in the Bowl game set to take place on January 2nd, along with recruiting via a NCAA waiver.
