The 2021 racing season is just a turn away, with that said the New York Sports Show is going to have our logo on several cars across the United States for the first time ever! This also marks history as the New York Sports Show is now the only podcast in the world to sponsor over 15 stock cars and the NYSS creator and host, Dominic Konareski is also the young person to ever sponsor over 15 stock cars in NASCAR sponsorship history! With that said lets take a look at our drivers and teams!
Andrew Molleur - SK Modified
Andrew "The High Roller" Molleur is the youngest feature winner in SK Light and SK Modified history, overall he has over 300 wins from Quarter Midgets to SK Modifies. Andrew races all around the country as he has done races on the Whelen Tour and drives at several local tracks in Connecticut.
Jonathan Puleo - SK Modified
Jonathan Puleo is entering his rookie year in the SK Mods after having a career best season in the SK Light division at Stafford Speedway where he got 5 wins (3 points paying, 2 non points paying.) Jonathan will be driving the #7 SKM after a number change as he used to drive the #57. Jonathan will be contending for the SK Modified Rookie of The Year.
Fran Siana - SK Modified
Fran Siana is one of the most determined and experienced SKM drivers at Stafford as he has been in the division at Stafford Speedway starting in 49 races. Fran has 3 wins at Stafford, all in the Street Stock division and it is just a matter of time until he appears in victory lane in the Mods.
Robert Bloxsom III - Tour Type Modified
Robert Bloxsom III has his eyes on competing in all of the Tri Track Modified Series races, going for the championship. Running SK Lights in 2020, Bloxsom got 2 wins at the Waterford Speed bowl as he had a career high season. The 20 year old has a massive amount of talent and it is only a matter of time before championships come his way.
Dave Wray - Late Model
In 2020 the New York Sports Show sponsored Dave Wray and DMW Racing for just one race and we want more as the NYSS will be on the Stafford Speedway #44 Late Model for every race in the season. Dave is no stranger to racing as he is entering his 15th season in the sport. The seasoned Veteran ended 2020 with tons of momentum as he looks to use that in 2021.
Adam Gray - Late Model
The New York Sports Show will be sponsoring 3-time Stafford Speedway late model champion Adam Gray for the 2021 racing season. Gray, who is entering his 10th year at SMS has 22 feature wins in 129 starts. Adam Gray won his most recent championship last season (2020) where he tied for his career high six wins in a season (2013, 2014, 2020) Gray is looking to defend his title and the NYSS will be part of it!
Adam Gray is also the 2008 Monadnock Late Model Champion. No matter what the track, Gray has proven that he can go out there and win.
Grant Brown - Late Model
Grant Brown competes full time in the Big 8 Late Model Tour driving the #14 Late Model. The third generation racer has already won the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Division IV Championship as he looks for more.
Nick Hovey - Street Stock
Nick Hovey is fairly new still to the Stafford Speedway Street Stock Division, coming off of his rookie season in 2020 where he won Rookie of The Year. Hovey got 2top5s and 12top10s in just 14 starts as he turned a lot of heads, he comes into 2021 looking for his first Street Stock career win.
Kyle Johnson - Street Stock
Kyle Johnson made his Street Stock series debut at Stafford Speedway in 2020. Competing in all14 races Johnson claimed 5top10s and finished 8th in the points and 2nd in Rookie of The Year Standings.
Rent A Racecar - Street Stocks
Rent A Racecar was the first ever team that the New York Sports Show sponsored, with that said we are proud to announce that the NYSS will have a sticker on every car in the RAR fleet. Rent A Racecar provides a way to kick start your racing career. RAR has one full time driver, Christopher "Mayor McCheese" Danielczuk who recently came off one of his best seasons.
Matt Brewer - Senior Outlaw Karts
The New York Sports Show will be sponsoring the #51 Matt Brewer Motorsports Senior Outlaw kart piloted by Matt Brewer. Matt races on the Stafford Speedway mini mile for Monday night racing in the Senior Outlaw division where he finished 13th in points in the 2020 racing season. We have seen many drivers who race on Fridays at Stafford come through the ranks of the Outlaw division and with Matts talent you can expect him to be moving up soon to Friday nights.
Tyler Armstrong - Micro Sprint
For the first time ever the New York Sports Show is going dirt racin' as the NYSS will be sponsoring the #17 Micro Sprint Car driven by Tyler Armstrong. Tyler owns and operates the team as he is living his dream of being a dirt racing driver. With this, this is also the first time the New York Sports Show has traveled out of Connecticut in sponsoring as Tyler races in Pennsylvania. Tyler is going for the points championship on Wingless Wednesdays.
Brandon Doland - Pure Stock
Brandon Doland races at Latrobe Speedway driving a Pure Stock 358 Small Block Chevy. Brandon will be racing all the way from April to October going for the championship. Brandon has the number 8c as the car number and no one aint see him when he passes due to the car being so fast. (I wanna add that was the first joke I ever made in an article)
Casey Elliott - Dirt Late Model
Casey Elliott will be driving the no.66 Dirt Late Model for the first time ever as he has been behind the wheel in an IMCA Sport Modified where he won a track championship with.
Camdyn Curtis - Sportsman
Camdyn Curtis has been racing his whole life, the young veteran started at just 7 years old racing karts. Now the 15 year old has over 40 wins and multiple championships.
Joe Warren - Figure 8
For the first time ever the New York Sports Show will not be going in circles as we will be sponsoring Joe Warren who drives in the figure 8 series. Joe also drives mini stocks and a late model.
AKA Racing - Saturn Sc2
AKA Racing is comprised of four cars driven by Matt Westover, Timothy Burgess, Bill Lauber and Chuck McDonald. AKAR competes in the vCard Division and the Xcar division. The AKA Racing Saturn Sc2s can always be seen leading the pack.
Donald Sossong Jr - Mighty Midget
Donald Sossong Jr has been in racing almost his entire life, racing across America. He drives asphalt midgets and has competed at tracks such as Painsville Speedway, Lorain Raceway Park and Indianapolis. Donald competes in several series, but mainly runs in the Mighty TQ Midget Series.
