Bills Clinch AFC East After Blowout Win Over Jets
Updated: May 17
The Buffalo Bills clinched the AFC East last night in a 27-10 blowout win against the New York Jets last night. The Bills and the New England Patriots came in tied with a 10-6 record with Buffalo holding the tie breaker, the only way they would lose that slot is if New England won and Buffalo lost. New England ended up losing and Buffalo won to propel them to the third seed. The Bills have now won the AFC East back-to-back years, something they have not done in decades. The Bills come into this season as Super Bowl favorites and now they will contend for that trophy and those rings over the upcoming weeks.
