The West Haven Blue Devils are just a CIAC approval away to co-op hockey. This comes as the team will only have about 10-11 returning players this upcoming 2022/23 season with 4 freshmen entering possibly this year, even though 14-15 players is still not enough for a hockey team. The team had no juniors last season so there will be no senior players this year as senior night will be put on hold for now at least for one year. The options for the co-op with West Haven involve the likes of Shelton, Seymour and possibly Oxford to send players down and play for the Blue Devils. Overall the CIAC Boys Hockey season featured 55 programs last season with 21 of those programs being co-op.
