Francisco Lindor Makes New York Mets History

AUGUST 14th: Francisco Lindor has made New York Mets history for a shortstop. Going up against the Philadelphia Phillies, Lindor was on the cusp on breaking Jose Reyes record for most RBIs in a single season by a Mets’ shortstop, which is 81 RBIs set in 2006. Now there is a new record holder as Lindor brought home his 81st and 82nd RBIs to tie and break the record. With still over a month left of the 2022 it is without a doubt that Lindor will add many more to the record as he is looking at a possible 100+ RBI season.
