Red Sox Pitcher Chris Sale Undergoes Season-Ending Surgery

AUGUST 9th: Boston Red Sox ace pitcher Chris Sale cannot catch a break as he underwent season-ending surgery. Sale was on the IL due to a broken finger he sustained via a come-backer against the Yankees about a month ago in his first game back from an IL stint that be was on due to broken ribs. While on the recent IL due to the broken finger, riding his bike Chris Sale fell off, breaking his wrist. Sale is a seasoned vet of the sport and will most likely have a spot in the hall of fame when the time comes, but being *very* injury prone it raises the question if Chris Sale should retire.
