The West Haven Blue Devils go up against the Fairfield/Warde Mustangs on Saturday at 1:00 at Bennett Rink. The Blue Devils are coming off one of their biggest wins in franchise history as they beat the Guilford Indians in a 7-0 shutout/blowout. The Blue Devils are looking for win number two of the season. Devils Goalie Jared Pliszka got his first shutout last game and he is looking to get his second right away.
The Mustangs went 11-8-1 in the 2018/19 season. With the loss of Goalie Will Capalbo (graduation) this wont be an easy game for them, but they have Jordan Verchin and John Grace who both have gotten a lot of playing time the last two seasons.
Overall this will be a close game as both teams are almost the same power wise. Goaltending will play a big part as this will be a defensive game.
