Francisco Lindor Makes NL History

Updated: May 18, 2023

New York Mets switch hitter shortstop Francisco Lindor made history in yesterday’s game against the Braves. Lindor has been on fire this season overall with splits of .244/.317/.433 in 88 games. Despite Lindor’s batting average being below .250 he has produced for the team heavily with 64 RBIs and 16 home runs. Those 60+ RBIs made Francisco Lindor the first switch-hitting shortstop in the National League to have 60 or more RBIs before the all-star break. Francisco Lindor is currently projected to have a 100+ RBI season as the Mets continue to hold first place in the East
