Blue Devils Go Into Shelton Matchup For Their First ‘Real Game’ Of The 2022 Season

The West Haven Blue Devils go into a Friday night lights matchup against Shelton in what is one of, if not the biggest game of the 2022 regular season for the West Haven team. The Blue Devils enter their home turf of Ken Strong Stadium with an undefeated record of 5-0, 3-0 at home. Shelton comes in 4-1 with their sole loss being against North Haven.


West Haven is coming off of a 57-6 win over Wilbur Cross as Shelton also is coming off of a win against NFA, the score was 49-28 in that game. The Blue Devils are ranked 4th in Connecticut High School Football as the Gaels are 14th in the rankings.


All five of the opponents that West Haven has faced as a combined record of 6-15 through the first six weeks of the season. The Blue Devils have outscored the opposition 242-48 so far.


This matchup will be West Haven’s first real challenge of the season as we will see where this first place team truly stands.
