The ferris wheel of quarterback slots continues behind Josh Allen for the Buffalo Bills. For the fourth straight season, the team will have a new face in the QB2 slot.
Buffalo and Houston switched quarterbacks, sending Case Keenum to the Texans and Kylke Allen getting on a one-way flight to Bills’ Town, New York.
This follows an offseason in which powerful back-up Mitchell Trubisky, signed with Pittsburgh. In 2020, Josh Allen had Matt Barkley as QB2, he still resides on the team, but spent last season on the practice squad.
Overall the Bills going through back-up QBs like they change underwear hasn’t resulted in any negative impact. You can thank Josh Allen’s health for keeping away a potential loss, he has not missed a single game in that three year span.
