Aaron Rodgers had his weekly appearance on the Pat McAfee Show today and confirmed what everyone thought.
Rodgers has not been medically cleared and said that it would be at least another 3-4 weeks. The statement basically ends his season.
The Jets (5-9) have already been eliminated from playoff contention and have gone through four different quarterbacks this season with three different starters.
Aaron Rodgers viewed 2023 and 2024 as his last two years in the league before retirement, but also mentioned on the show that he is looking at 2023 as a lost season.
“I don’t think next year will be my last year.” Those words come powerful to the Jets loyalists who have gone through so much the last decade.
AR8 also said that “We don’t need to rebuild. We need to reload” when asked about the upcoming offseason.
