Is Trevor Lawrence The Next Great QB?

Trevor Lawrence is currently in his second year of Quarterbacking in the NFL, overall his rookie season was little to smile on. 2022 has been a different story though for the Jaguars QB1 as he has brought the team to a 2-2 record going into week 5, that record gives the Jags first place in the AFC South. Last season the Jaguars only won three games, going 3-14 in the win-loss column and did not win a single road game.

Trevor Lawrence went into a week 3 matchup earlier this NFL season, on the road vs the Chargers. Going into the game Lawrence stood 0-9 on the road, that would all change after a dominating game where he threw three touchdowns in route to a Jaguars 38-10 win. That win marks Trevor Lawrence's first career road win after that 0-9 dry streak to start off his NFL career. Lawrence now joins the great Peyton Manning, who also started his NFL road career 0-9 only to win against the Chargers in his 10th road game. The coincidence goes farther though as Manning and Lawrence both did it in their second season against the Chargers team in week 3.

It is without a doubt that the Jaguars have a good team this season and along with being the weak division of what is the AFC South, they undoubtedly have a change to win the division. Trevor Lawrence never lost a football game in his life until his NFL career started a season ago, he has the drive to win, but will he getting more of those game winning drives this season or will he collapse and fall below .500? We will just have to wait and see.
